Waves Waves Waves

There hasn´t been too much blog action lately - mainly because I´ve been too busy surfing to update it. Also because I haven't been doing anything except surfing, and for most people that's not all that interesting really. Anyway, here´s a few photos of the places I´ve been surfing at....

ECUADOR

Here are a few Aussie lads and some locals I met at MontaƱitas, a popular Ecuadorian surfing town. The waves were good here, but I managed to delete all my surf photos accidentally.... yeah right I hear you say....

Random Ecuadorian fishing village.

PANAMA
This is Santa Catalina. If you ever visit Panama, I highly recommend you go surfing here.

This is the Carribbean coast of Panama. Nice beaches and pretty villages, but no surf when I was there.

COSTA RICA

Playa Hermosa - Big Waves and surfer babes.

Santa Teresa, Costa Rica - and some people I met there...

NICARAGUA
The view from the back of a Nicaraguan chicken bus.

This is where I´m staying now - the chicken shack on the beach, Playa Madera, Nicaragua.

Not a bad view for $5 a night huh?!?

This part of the Nicaraguan coast is the opposite of southwest WA... Apparently they get 300+ days a year of light breezy offshore winds. Hard to believe, but I´ve been here 4 days and its been either dead still and glassy or 5 knott offshores the whole time. And there´s been waves...

The surf in front of the chicken shack...

Mr Red Crab

Weird Nicaraguan Cow/Sheep/Goat things.

The sunsets have been nice too....
